Smitty`s Pizza in Shreveport

The best pizza in SB. I'm not a crust person but theirs is platonic. The pizza was loaded with toppings. Our server was not having a good day, or was a trainee in need of training. Was there on a Saturday for lunch, if I am ever in the area on a weekday, I would definitely try the buffet.

I want to give it 5 stars. This can be a hit or miss. The key is to order an actual pizza and not do the buffet if you go during lunch. The buffet is never properly stocked and takes your entire lunch break to get a pepperoni pizza replenished. But if you order just what you want, the pizza is really good!

I was always curious about this place. Pizza is one of my favorite foods to eat. I finally gave it a chance one evening. I was greeted with nice customer service, which is the reason for the four star. The pizza wasn't really anything special to me, but decent. The time to receive the pizza was reasonable. But the taste did not have me wanting to come back.

The service and food is great! Good for a casual dinner or to watch football!

Can't wait to return. We loved the cheese sticks, pizza, and the cinnamon sticks for dessert were ah-mazing. Also, the beer deals are good :)

The stromboli was amazing!

First time. The wings were really good and so was the pizza. The service was great as well. We will be back and we will be looking for the same waitress we had. She was awesome! If you go ask for Jessi she really is sweet and made our experience there fun.

Stopped in for my favorite a meat lovers on thin crust, and a tall cold glass of sweet tea. Very friendly staff and quick service. Go ck them out.

We ordered a small cheese, medium meat lovers and breadsticks. We ordered online through grub hub. We received a notification that the order would be ready 30 minutes later. After arriving at the restaurant, the cashier revealed that the order had been forgotten about and was not even started yet. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes for the order and told “have a nice day.” Will not be back.

It was horrible. It was a birthday party and we all sat at the same table and she took all of our orders at the same time. She forgot to put ours in and we had to watch everyone eat while we waited for them to cook us one. Then when we got it there was something wrong with it. When we left they tried to over charge us. Never again.

Best pizza we have had in a very long time! Wonderful crispy crust! Pizza was nice and hot and very tasty. Service was excellent and restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend this place, but it's up for sale, so go soon! Maybe they will change their mind about selling out.

Lately the pizza is really good, got a couple of good cooks now instead of just the one .. so pizza is very good!!

Awesome pizza. Plenty of options. A must do every trip to Shreveport. Cheese bread is well worth it.

For me, it is what I want. No frills pizza. Take a 1977 Pizza Inn and add a few TVs and free refills. To me... that's worth the 5 stars. Thin crust with lots of cheese and toppings. Nothing fancy. Just good pizza.

A little over priced for pizza. The waitress was average (not much of a warm greeting, but not cold). Prompt service it was not.

Has the best pizza. Made on site all fresh. Great wings as well. The best cinimon sticks I have ever had.

I visited during a family gathering, the waitress was very nice and attentive. The restaurant itself is quiet and pleasant, nice place to just go and enjoy. All of the food was great.

Pizza dough tasted old and hasn't been good for the last couple of times we got it.

Great overall just limited on the amount of pizza variation at the buffet.

Smitty's is always good. This visit, we had a really sweet and attentive waitress. We beat the dinner crowd , but the kitchen had put anchovies on our pizza even with our waitress writing NO anchovies. Fortunately for me, she caught the error and had the kitchen redo our order before it was presented to us. Thank you very much lovely waitress! We will happily continue to hit Smitty's for some really good food and service!

Smitty's is a good little pizza spot that's been around forever. Definitely recommend trying the lunch buffets 11-1:30 to get a sample of everything. The thin crust here is on point.

Absolutely the very best pizza in Shreveport/Bossier area!!!They still use the ole-fashion ovens which makes pizza taste much better! If you dont get a Smittys pizza then your not eating a good tasting pizza. Hamburger pizza is the best!!! Also the staff are very friendly and personable. Five Stars all all around!!!

Smitty's Pizza was delicious! We stopped by for a thin crust meat lovers. Pizza was not greasy like some places; there isn't too much tomato sauce on the pizza. The restuarant was clean and dimly lit, easy on the eyes. They serve alcohol, so it's a great place to watch sports & have a few drinks!

Wow. Just wow. We have ordered the thin crust meat lovers and cheese sticks several times and the last two times we have been sorely disappointed! The amount of cheese is non existent anymore. What happened? Kinda hard to justify spending $70 on 2 pizzas and cheese sticks then have to add cheese to it. After the first time this happened we thought we would give it another try. This time it was even worse! We will be finding another pizza place after this disappointing experience!

One of our favorite local, hometown pizza places!!! Great service everytime we've gone. Wish they'd bring back the pizza logs though!!!!

It's just ok. The staff is very friendly, but the pizza tastes like cafeteria pizza. The $10 lunch buffet is the redeeming factor here, and while the selection is limited to a few pizzas and a salad bar, it's definitely worth a lunch visit.

This review is for the buffet. I went for lunch yesterday at 12:15 and there was only three partial pizzas on the buffet. I thought they where surely about to restock however for the 45 minutes I was there they only brought out two pizzas that was quickly devoured by the number of people waiting. Love there pizza but if your going to charge 12.80 for a buffet and a drink you should have pizza prepared.I won't return for the buffet.

I wish I could have moved Smitty's to Hot Springs Arkansas 2 years ago when I moved here. Love and miss you guys!

Great Pizza but need more varieties on lunch buffet. The buffet should be the same pizza as if you were purchasing a single personal pizza if they did I would eat there more often at lunch and I'd bet it would suck Johnny's lunch customers to smitty's food for thought

The service here at this place is horrible, Pizza was not right, they dont even know whats going on, management is a joke.... there floors are dirty, i heard the health department is cracking down on them for being dirty. I mean just take a 20 dollar bill and set it on fire, if your gonna come here.
